“Having been a teacher I know how hard teachers work, so I always like to write something into the plays, albeit a bit tongue-in-cheek, especially to make them smile too!”

Graham Scott (founder)
Graham studied both Physics and Education at Homerton College, Cambridge and then taught Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in schools for five years.
After retraining as an Actor at Guildford School of Acting, he co-founded the Kinetic Theatre Company in 1988 for which he has been writing and producing ever since, as well as pursuing other acting commitments.
“By starting Kinetic I wanted to combine both my passions – science and acting – and to put them to an educational use. I want the shows to be as theatrical as possible (and fun for the teachers as well as the children!) but, just as important, to be interesting and inspirational too.
“I am aware of the constraining red-tape facing teachers when organising trips, so by visiting the schools we help to make their lives easier. We also aim to keep costs down, making theatre accessible for every budget”.
“Each show has its own theme, scientific-content and genre and I am indebted to my superb team of industry professionals, all of whom contribute to the theatrical experience we take into schools.”
