	Key Stage 1 • The children are introduced to the 3 main types of adult teeth (canines, molars and incisors) and the reasons for having them • Basic oral hygiene is included. The main parts of the body are identified (including the skeleton but without reference to particular bones) • Elementary nutrition is included (protein, carbohydrate) Key Stage 2 • As KS1 but in greater detail... • Some main bones of the skeleton are included and nutrition is treated in much greater detail to incorporate Vitamins A to D. • The distinction between carnivores and herbivores is made.
