Upon leaving school Paul worked in computer retail, IT technical support, and for 18 months as a Civil Servant, before training as an actor at Redroofs Film and Theatre School.  He graduated in 1997, winning the Student of the Year Award.

His second job was with Kinetic Theatre Company, touring North London in The Electricity Show, (now Lamps In The Circuit), and he has enjoyed working with the company ever since, having performed in or directed most of their shows.  Other theatre work includes Bobby in Stephen Sondheim's Company, Rivers in Accrington Pals, Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as touring countless Primary and Secondary schools up and down the country with a variety of Theatre-in-Education companies.

After ten years of working as an actor, he now brings his knowledge and experience of touring schools to the Kinetic production office.
