• The children are introduced to the 3 main types of adult teeth (canines, molars and incisors) and their functions
• Basic oral hygiene is demonstrated and the children are shown how to brush and floss safely
• The main parts of the body are identified (including the skeleton but without reference to particular bones)
• Elementary nutrition is included (proteins, carbohydrates) and some elements contributing to a healthy lifestyle are included

Main bones, vitamins A to D, carnivores & herbivores, harmful effects of smoking

• As KS1 but in greater detail
• Some main bones of the skeleton are included and nutrition is treated in much greater detail to incorporate the roles of Vitamins A to D
• The distinction between carnivores and herbivores is made
• OPTIONAL: Teachers can choose an optional section on the harmful effects of smoking

Not a science teacher? You can be confident Kinetic shows are solidly based on the National Curriculum for Science, and will also make you laugh.

A Kinetic show costs £360 + VAT (1 performance) or £680 + VAT (2 performances). Most schools don’t have to pay the VAT.

It works out less than £1.75 per head based on 2 performances with 200 children per performance!
