Welcome to the Kinetic Theatre Company

New for 2021: The Light Fantastic – on film!

Due to COVID-19, schools tours are ‘on hold’. In the meantime, we have had one of our popular shows filmed for Science Week (5th – 14th March) to form part of our specially prepared FUN Pandemic Play Package!

The Light Fantastic is a Country & Western themed show about light, colour and optics, and is suitable for 7-12 year olds. The video will be available to stream throughout March – for schools to use with as many classes as they wish – including those who are remote learning.

As well as the video, the complete Pandemic Play Package includes:
  • Streaming of the video (approx 58 mins but can be shown in 3 x 20min or 2 x 30min sessions to suit your lesson structure)
  • Instructions for Zoom-sharing with home learners
  • Powerpoint presentation explaining key scientific points
  • Detailed notes to support teacher-knowledge
  • Assessment material to cover clear Learning Outcomes
  • Suggestions for fun home or classroom activities
  • All for just £125 + VAT (£150 total)
The Light Fantastic forms part of a teaching package for 2-3 lessons and can be streamed for 30 days for as many classes within 1 school as you like or embedded in your virtual classroom. The package has been specifically designed for UK Science Week 2021.

Performing Science Theatre across the UK

For over 30 years, the Kinetic Theatre Company has been touring professional Theatre-in-Education science-based shows to Primary schools throughout the UK. Each play has its own genre and musical theme and is geared to the National Curriculum for Science. The shows are fun, educational and the professional setup combines science, song and drama!
